  • Professional Background: Retired from B. T. Crump Company, a Richmond, Virginia-based company that sold tack goods, including saddles, bridles, etc.
  • Racing Background:

    First became involved in racing during early 1980s in association with Will Farish, whom he's known most of his life

  • Breeding/Racing Operation: With Will Farish and James Elkins, bought into four horses, including Prospectors Delite (dam of Tomisue’s Delight) when she was a weanling ... Prospectors Delite produced five foals, all stakes winners, including Horse of the Year Mineshaft (who stands at Lane’s End) and Grade 1 winner Tomisue’s Delight, who was the first horse to represent Webber in a Breeders’ Cup ... All breeding stock is kept at Lane’s End ... Owner and co-breeder (with Will Farish and James Elkins) of Kentucky Oaks winner Secret Status and her full brother, stakes winner Alumni Hall, and co-breeder (with Will Farish) of 2006 champion three-year-old filly Wait a While, fourth in the 2006 Filly & Mare Turf ... A two-time stakes winner in ’07, and three-time stakes winner in ’08, Wait a While is on track for a second attempt at a Breeders' Cup victory ... Webber and Farish also are co-breeders of the first and second dams of Wait a While, Flirtatious and Grand Charmer ... Flirtatious has a yearling colt by Pleasantly Perfect and delivered a full brother to Wait a While in 2007.
