2009 Win %: 50% In-The-Money %: 50%

Strengths: One of the world’s fastest horses the opening quarter-mile of a race, she can run the competition off their feet. Well traveled, she’s been successful over multiple dirt surfaces and appears to handle synthetics as well. Consistently fires her best shot for five furlongs and lets the chips fall where they may.

Weaknesses: Sometimes can break a beat slow and then have to use her amazing speed to propel back to the lead. That can be a detriment in large fields and allow her to be “hooked” by other speed horses on occasion. Dominant vs. straight 3-year-olds in 2007, she has yet to prove she can be as effective against the elite older mares.

Biographies on jockeys, trainers and owners are from the Breeders' Cup World Championships events from 2001 through 2009, and are intended as informational resources. Biographies will be updated if an individual is again a participant in the Breeders' Cup World Championships. Biographies are available for most horses appearing in the top 100 money earnings list, and/or for those who are frequently making headlines in the news starting with the 2006 Triple Crown season.
