Racing Background:After emigrating from Syria to the United States in 1964, Paul Sr. was taken to the races at Santa Anita by a friend, and he became an instant fan, buying into a claimer with that same friend ... In 1999, he decided to start building a stable with his sons as partners. "He passed on his love for racing by taking us to the races when we were growing up," said Paul Jr. That passion has been passed on to the next generation. “My kids love going to the racetrack,” Christopher said on Oct. 28, 2009. He expects the entire aforementioned family to be at Santa Anita Park for the 2009 Breeders’ Cup. On having a horse in the Breeders’ Cup at his home track, Chris said, “It’s amazing. There is no other way to describe it.”
Breeding/Racing Operation: Triple B has a handful of horses in training and a few broodmares that are boarded in California … Elusive Galaxy (Ire) finished third in the G2-Debutante Stakes at Leopardstown Racecourse in Ireland on Aug. 6, 2009 before being purchased by Three Chimneys Racing and Triple B Farm. … In her first start for her new connections, she was a close fourth in the G3-Natalma Stakes at Woodbine on Sept. 19. ... Current runners include Flashmans Papers (GB), an allowance winner at Santa Anita Park on October 18, 2009 and runner-up in a stakes at Fairplex Park in September. … Triple B had its first Breeders' Cup starter when Vino Tinto, who was purchased for an undisclosed sum specifically for the event, ran eighth in the 2003 Juvenile Fillies ... Other top horses for the outfit include Shamdinan (Fr), second in the 2005 John Deere Breeders’ Cup Turf, and winner of the G1-Secretariat Stakes about ten 10 days after being purchased privately from the Aga Khan; and Whilly (Ire), who won a pair of Grade 2 races for Triple B. … Christopher said on Oct. 28 that the recession and the downturn in Thoroughbred prices has had no affect on Triple B because the family company has been unaffected by the poor economy.
