Strengths: A rolling off the pace winner at second asking at Del Mar in August, she returned seven weeks later to finish third in the Grade I Alcibiades a Keeneland. Off to a sluggish start, she made a huge middle move and held the lead at the top of the stretch, only to be outfinished late. She has a route race under her belt, and has a proven late kick.

Weaknesses: All three of her career starts have come over synthetic surfaces, so she is obviously unproven over traditional dirt, and she has only a maiden win to her credit thus far.

In the Genes: Her multiple grade 1-winning sire Aldebaran was a dirt sprinter by trade, but he also held his own in routes and on grass. He ran in the Breeders’ Cup twice, finishing eleventh in the ’02 Mile and sixth as the favorite in the ’03 Sprint. Her dam Propriety won just one of seven career starts.

Status: Remains in training for a possible start at the Hollywood Park meet.

Bet You Didn’t Know: Trainer Doug O’Neill won his first Breeders’ Cup race from nine tries last year, capturing the Sprint with the 15-1 longshot Thor’s Echo.
