Racing Career: Prior to owning Cherokee Triangle, runaway winner of Louisiana Downs' Sunday Silence Stakes and candidate for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf, stable's claim to fame was Executor, who was voted Kentucky's Claiming Horse of the Year in 2000. Executor set the track record for 1 1/4 miles at Kentucky's Ellis Park before a broken sesamoid forced him into retirement ... Dr. Diamond rides him about once a week now at a small farm in Finchville, Ky., not too far from Louisville ... Has been partners with Jim Shircliff for about 10 years; owns Cherokee Triangle in partnership with Sand Dollar Stable.
