Premier Bloodstock

  • Owner(s): Richard Henry
  • Breeding/Racing Operation: Established in 1992, Premier Bloodstock owns five mares, three boarded at Coolmore Stud in Ireland and two at Ashford Stud in Kentucky ... This small band has proved highly successful, having produced eight stakes winners, including Grazalema, Princess Carla, Eminence Grise, Gypsy King and Atlantic Waves. All My Loving’s family has enjoyed tremendous success since the mid 1990s. Last Second, a half-sister to All My Loving’s dam Jude, was a dual group 2 winner in 1996 and has since produced the 2006 French 2,000 Guineas and Shadwell Turf Mile winner Aussie Rules, Alouette, one of two stakes-winning sisters to Jude, has thrown the excellent fillies Alborada, twice winner of the group 1 Champion Stakes, and Albanova, a triple group 1 winner. It is a measure of the family’s current status that Albanova’s first foal, a filly by All My Loving’s sire Sadler’s Wells, sold for $3.2 million in October 2007. Another member of this exceptional family by Sadler’s Wells is Dragon Dancer, who failed by only a short head to win the 2006 Derby. Jude’s half-sister Alleluia stayed well enough to win the Doncaster Cup over 2 1/4 miles and has now produced another leading stayer in Allegretto, winner of two group 2 contests  the Henry II Stakes and the Goodwood Cup – in 2007 ... Not only has Jude been an extraordinary broodmare, she also has provided the inspiration for using musical tributes in naming her offspring. Her first foal was named after Emmylou Harris’ album Quarter Moon and The Beatles’ songs provided the inspiration for the names of her daughters Yesterday, All My Loving and Hold Me Love Me.
