2008 Record: (2-1-1-0)
2008 Earnings: $736,000
2008 Win %: 50% In-The-Money %: 100%
BC Points: 4

Earned a spot in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile via a Breeders' Cup Challenge victory in the Lane's End Breeders' Futurity Stakes at Keeneland on Saturday, October 4, 2008.

Strengths: Beautiful strider covers a lot of ground and showed in the Breeders’ Futurity that he is even better over a distance of ground than he was sprinting in England. He’s by sire Smart Strike, a phenomenal producer on dirt, turf and all-weather tracks and has a long-winded pedigree on both sides. Square Eddie already has answered the question as to whether he can travel, winning on two continents.

Weaknesses: Dreaded “Euro-bounce” theory that many handicappers subscribe to will put him to the test as to whether he can maintain his form now that he’s remained in the US. Changes hands to an entirely new barn with Doug O’Neill now, so despite the obvious talents of that conditioner, Square Eddie will have to acclimate to a new program.
