Where Legends Are Born
In 2018, all five Juvenile (two-year old) races will be run on the same day to create Future Stars Friday. The day will culminate with the $2 Million Sentient Jet Juvenile that will help decide who will return to Churchill Downs as a favorite for the 2019 Kentucky Derby.
From Unbridled’s Song and Uncle Mo, to Street Sense and Nyquist, some of horse racing's biggest stars have made visits to the Breeders' Cup Winner's Circle as two-year olds. Songbird rose to stardom and locked down her 2-year-old filly Eclipse Award by winning the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. Street Sense and Nyquist swiped the Sentient Jet Juvenile on their way to future Kentucky Derby glory. And Lady Eli proved her mettle in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.
Who will be the next future star to rise to the challenge on Future Stars Friday at the Breeders' Cup? Don't pass up your chance to witness horse racing's stars of tomorrow at the 2018 Breeders' Cup World Championships.
