Regally Ready turned back 13 rivals including defending champion Chamberlain Bridge to win the 2011 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint at Churchill Downs. In defeating Country Day by 1 1/2 lengths, Regally Ready gave jockey Corey Nakatani his ninth Breeders’ Cup victory and provided trainer Steve Asmussen with his third win in the Championships.
Regally Ready won his first race on July 18, 2010 in his fourth start at Woodbine. In 2011, Regally Ready won four graded stakes including the Grade 1 Nearctic at Woodbine 20 days before his victory at Churchill Downs. Other graded wins came in the San Simeon (Grade 3) at Santa Anita and the Twin Spires Turf Sprint (Grade 3) at Churchill Downs.
