Trainer:
D. Hofmans
Owner:
Amerman Racing (John & Jerry Amerman)
Breeder:

Adoration launched her career as a three-year-old in 2002 and made her mark in the upper levels by winning a pair of graded stakes races. The following year she continued being competitive before pulling off a surprise victory in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff at Santa Anita Park as the longest shot in the field at more than 40-1. That afternoon she was first from the starting gate and led all the way en route to a 4 1/2-length score for trainer David Hofmans and Amerman Racing Stables. She enhanced her reputation by adding three more graded stakes victories to her resume the following year and left the track with eight wins in 20 starts and earnings of $2-million.
