LEXINGTON, Ky. (October 18, 2012) — The Breeders’ Cup and Fasig-Tipton, one of the world’s leading Thoroughbred auction companies, today announced that Fasig-Tipton will be a presenting partner of the 2012 Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
As a part of the agreement, Fasig-Tipton will sponsor the Breakfast Marquee at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., home of the 29th Breeders’ Cup, Nov. 2-3, where horsemen and racing VIPs from around will gather each morning in the days preceding the event to enjoy a private breakfast and view the workouts of the horses competing in the 15 Breeders’ Cup races.
As an added benefit, Breeders’ Cup and Fasig-Tipton have secured a “Auction Air” B737 special charter flight for owners and breeders to depart for Lexington immediately after the Breeders’ Cup concludes on Saturday evening, November 3 and be flown to Lexington for the Fasig-Tipton November sale, which begins on Monday, November 5.
