ARCADIA, Calif. (February 6, 2013) – The Breeders’ Cup today unveiled the official event logo for the 30th running of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., on November 1-2.
This year’s Breeders’ Cup, which annually attracts the top Thoroughbred horses from around the globe, will mark the seventh time that Santa Anita will be the site of the World Championships races. Santa Anita also hosted last year’s two-day event.
The 2013 event logo incorporates the Breeders’ Cup signature brand mark in gold at the center of the logo, flanked by purple flourishes emerging from the base of the image. The words “2013 World Championships” form an arc at the top of the logo, while at the bottom of the image the number 30 is placed between the words “Santa Anita”. The event dates, November 1-2, are at the foundation of the mark.
