NEW YORK (October 4, 2013) – The Breeders' Cup World Championships, horse racing's premier international event, today announced a partnership with Gold Derby (www.goldderby.com), Hollywood's original online entertainment awards predictor. Beginning in October, Gold Derby will host The Breeders' Cup Classic Predictions Contest, which gives users the opportunity to select the winner of the Breeders' Cup Classic, shown live in primetime at 8:00pm ET on NBC on Nov. 2.
The Breeders' Cup Classic Predictions Center will combine the rankings of participating experts, journalists, Gold Derby editors and general users. The Breeders' Cup will award the winner VIP tickets to attend next year's event plus direct a $10,000 donation to a charity of their choice. The Daily Racing Form (www.drf.com) will provide handicapping content as well as analysis from their experts.
