NEW YORK (Oct.13, 2014) - The Breeders’ Cup announced today its partnership with Las Vegas for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, Oct. 31 – Nov. 1 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. The Breeders’ Cup is Thoroughbred racing’s most prestigious international event, consisting of 13 grade 1 races with purses and awards totaling $26 million. The event will be televised live on NBC and NBCSN, promising two days of captivating glamour and excitement. It will also attract an international audience of celebrities and luminaries from Hollywood entertainment, business and sports.
As part of the agreement, Las Vegas will have multiple commercial units in the NBC Sports Network telecast of the Championships. On site, the destination will integrate a comprehensive branding presence, including signage at the finish line, in the winner’s circle and the paddock during the two day event. In addition, Las Vegas will be promoted on the official Breeders’ Cup web site, www.breederscup.com.
