SYDNEY, (April 20, 2013) – Raffles Thoroughbred Syndicate’s Sacred Falls (NZ) passed the favored Pierro in the final yards to capture Saturday’s BMW Doncaster Mile (G1) at Royal Randwick and became the second horse to qualify for the 2013 Breeders’ Cup Mile through the Breeders’ Cup Challenge series. The Breeders’ Cup Challenge is a global series of 67 stakes races whose winners earn automatic starting positions into a corresponding race of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, which will be held at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., Nov. 1-2.
