(May 30, 2013) - The Breeders’ Cup today announced that the fifth Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) will be held at Santa Anita Park on November 1-2 with a purse expected to be upwards of $500,000 (based on 185 players). The BCBC is the country’s largest live money handicapping tournament in terms of prize money and requires a $10,000 buy-in.

BUENOS AIRES (May 25, 2013) – The 5-year-old Ordak Dan (ARG) sprung loose in the final furlong to score an upset win by three quarters of a length over favored Soy Carambolo (ARG) in Saturday’s 1 ½ mile Gran Premio de Mayo (G1) at San Isidro Racecourse in Argentina, and became the first horse this year to qualify for the Breeders’ Cup Turf (GI) through the international Breeders’ Cup Challenge.
