Breeders’ Cup Releases Episode 4 of ‘All In: Road to the Classic'
LEXINGTON, Ky. (October 25, 2019) – Breeders’ Cup today releases Episode 4 of Season 2 of ‘ALL IN: The Road to the Classic,’ the six-part original series documenting the world’s best trainers, jockeys, owners and Thoroughbred horses as they prepare for the $6 million Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Episode 4 is currently available for viewing on the Breeders’ Cup YouTube channel, Facebook page and website. Episode 3, which debuted on Wednesday, October 23, is also available on the same platforms.
Episode 3, titled “Diamond in the Rough,” centers around the world-famous Keeneland September Yearling Sale, where the horse racing industry’s most prominent figures gather in search of the next Breeders’ Cup Classic champion. The episode simultaneously follows potential buyers, including celebrity stylist Carson Kressley and Bloom Racing Stable founder Jeff Bloom, and active sellers, such as Ashview Farm owners Gray and Brian Lister, as they navigate the sales and compete with other prominent horsemen from around the world.
Episode 4, titled “Never Goes According to Plan,” spotlights the final weekend of ‘Win and You’re In’ races, which take place across the country as part of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series and grant automatic entry into the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. During the episode, Hall of Fame inductee Bob Baffert and Jeff Bloom prepare for the Awesome Again Stakes at Santa Anita Park and the Jockey Cup Gold Cup at Belmont Park. Meanwhile, renowned jockey Mike Smith, torn between racing two horses, must make the difficult decision to participate in one of the two races, which could determine whether he will race in the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Episodes 3 and 4 will later air on NBCSN on Wednesday, October 30 at 11:30 PM ET and Thursday, October 31 at 8:30 PM ET respectively. TVG Network will air both episodes consecutively on Friday, November 1 starting 10:30 AM ET. In Canada, The Sports Network (TSN) will broadcast Episode 3 on Thursday, October 31 and Episode 4 on Friday, November 1 at 1:00 PM ET.
