Fanticipate Partners with Breeders’ Cup on Challenge Series Auctions To Benefit Breeders’ Cup Charities
Monument, CO, July 15, 2021 – Fanticipate, a patented online auction platform for fans to bid on unique memorabilia and experiences from their favorite competitors before the game even starts, has partnered with Breeders’ Cup to offer a series of auctions coinciding with select Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series races and the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. Proceeds will benefit Breeders’ Cup Charities. With Fanticipate, fans have the exciting opportunity to own items used by entrants in these races, enabling them to “own a piece of the action.”
The series of auctions will kick off with the G1 TVG.com Haskell Stakes on July 17, 2021 at Monmouth Park, which will be broadcast on NBC from 5:00-6:00pm EDT as a part of the “Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series: Win and You’re In presented by America’s Best Racing.” The Haskell is a “Win and You’re In” qualifier for the G1 Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic. The series will continue with: the G1 Jockey Club Gold Cup and G1 Flower Bowl Invitational (September 4 at Saratoga Race Course); the G1 Woodbine Mile (September 18 at Woodbine); the G1 Breeders' Futurity, the G2 Thoroughbred Club of America, and the G1 Keeneland Turf Mile (October 9 at Keeneland Race Course); and conclude with the Breeders’ Cup World Championships (November 5-6 at Del Mar).
The first auction for the Haskell will include uniquely curated items from participants, such as a one-of-a-kind race day photo of Mandaloun and other items from the entrants’ owners and connections. Breeders’ Cup has also donated two Stretch Run Reserved Seats to the 2021 Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Del Mar to be auctioned off as part of the Haskell auction. Fans can view and bid on these items at www.fanticipate.com/breederscup. The auction runs through post time of the Haskell, 5:47pm EDT on July 17, 2021.
"Fanticipate is excited to partner with Breeders' Cup to provide fans unique opportunities to be a part of the action and to get closer to their favorite competitors throughout the Challenge Series and at the World Championships. We are equally excited that the proceeds will benefit Breeders’ Cup Charities," said Ed Blach, CEO and Co-Founder of Fanticipate. Stefanie Palmieri, Breeders’ Cup Vice President of Events, added, “Breeders’ Cup is proud to partner with Fanticipate in this exciting new venture in which fans can bid on outstanding memorabilia and experiences coinciding with selected Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series races, and support Breeders’ Cup Charities.”
