LEXINGTON, Ky. (January 8, 2016) – Wyndee Eastham, who has served as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO at the Breeders’ Cup for the past four years, will be departing the company to devote her full time efforts to Legacy Bloodstock, the Lexington-based Thoroughbred sales agency.
In 2013, Eastham and her husband, Tommy, relaunched Legacy Bloodstock, which was formerly co-owned with Mark Toothaker.
“With the increasing responsibilities of running Legacy with Tommy, I’ve decided it’s best for me to place my complete focus on our bloodstock business,” said Eastham, who also worked for four years as an executive assistant for the NTRA, in between stints with the Breeders’ Cup. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the Breeders’ Cup and look forward to maintaining great relationships with the colleagues I have cherished over the years.”
“On behalf of our staff and our Members and Directors, we extend the warmest of congratulations to Wyndee for over a decade of outstanding service to the Breeders’ Cup,” said Breeders’ Cup President and CEO Craig Fravel. “We will miss her dedication and commitment to making our company a better place to work, and wish her great success with Tommy and the team at Legacy.”
